We teamed up with Rosie Mae’s Alpaca Farm to offer a truly one of a kind experience in Chattanooga! You’ll start the morning with a guided hiking tour seeing a beautiful waterfall and suspension bridge - complete with transportation, professional photography, snacks, waters and expert local guides. After the hike & photos, we’ll take a short drive to Rosie Mae’s to enjoy fresh coffee and go behind-the-scenes to pet & feed their 9 adorable alpacas after hours — when the farm is closed to the public!

**Important note: Going in the fence with the alpacas is exclusive to our private tours. You cannot enter their fence on a regular visit to Rosie Mae’s.**

LENGTH OF TOUR:

  • Tour averages 4 hours from pick-up to drop-off.

  • This includes the transportation time, hiking time, and time at the alpaca farm.

  • We’ll pick you up in the morning and have you back for lunch.

LENGTH OF HIKE:

  • We’ll hike around 1 mile total.

  • This hike is rated as moderate, and generally suitable for kids aged 6+.

  • The trail down to the waterfall is steep + has rocky, uneven terrain.

  • *If you have younger children, please reach out to us & we can see if this trail would be a good fit for your family OR find an easier trail for you with a visit to the alpaca farm after!

TRANSPORTATION TIME:

  • Tour includes a 40-minute drive to the waterfall & a stop at Rosie Mae’s on the way back.

  • This is one of our closest tours to downtown Chattanooga.

WHAT TO WEAR:

  • Sneakers or hiking shoes with good tread.

  • During winter, we recommend layers: a long sleeve shirt, pants, and a jacket.

  • Dogs are welcome on the hike - we just require a leash.
    *Dogs are allowed at the alpaca farm, but not inside the coffee shop or in the fence with the alpacas*
