We teamed up with Rock City Gardens to offer an elevated experience at their tourist attraction on Lookout Mountain! You’ll start the morning with a guided walking tour seeing beautiful gardens, unique rock formations, a 180ft suspension bridge, a 90ft manmade waterfall, and panoramic mountain overlooks. This tour is complete with transportation, professional photography, snacks, waters and your own personal, knowledgable local guides!

things to know before booking:

  • We are a local guided hiking tour company but this tour is NOT a hike in the woods!

  • Rock City Gardens is one of the main, popular tourist attractions on Lookout Mountain & you can visit self-guided on your own.

  • This tour is for you if you do not have a vehicle when visiting Chattanooga, but still wish to visit Rock City.

  • Ride share services such as Uber/Lyft will take you to Rock City but may not be able to bring you back down the mountain due to crossing state lines. We hope to alleviate this transportation issue with our all-inclusive service!

  • Our tours start at the first time slot of the day to avoid peak crowds & provide the best photography opportunities.

  • We will take care of all ticket booking!

LENGTH OF TOUR:

  • Tour averages 2 hours from pick-up to drop-off.

  • This includes the transportation time, walking time, and time taking photos.

LENGTH OF Tour:

  • The walking path is 4100-ft long (0.7 of a mile)

  • The walk is rated as easy + family friendly!

  • The path features some stairs & a few tight spaces between the boulders.

  • Great option for solo travelers

TRANSPORTATION TIME:

  • Tour includes a 15-minute drive up Lookout Mountain.

  • We’ll pick you up from your Airbnb or hotel around 8:15am.

WHAT TO WEAR:

  • Sneakers or comfortable walking shoes

  • During fall, we recommend a t-shirt, pants, and a light jacket.

  • Dogs are welcome at Rock City on a leash!
